Catz

Basically my children =P

Bootz
I got Bootz on Christmas day of 2007. He was the tiniest little thing at just a few weeks old. Now he is a rather big guy who has a personality to fit. While he can be moody, most of the time he is a very loving and timid cat. Bootz has a bit of a tragic background story. A friend of mine found him and what was probably his siblings dumped in a box on the side of a busy street, filled with fertilizer. He was the only kitten to survive. Since I got him on Christmas I consider that to be his birthday. He was named for his white paw markings that look like steel toe boots. His favorite toys are plastic bottle caps which he has a bit of an obsession with. He would be an amazing volley ball player with procession paw smacking abilities. He also loves bubbles, laser pointers and playing hide and go seek with me. Most of the day he can be found stretched out on his side in sunlight. He's a rather lazy guy..

Oreo
A new addition to the family, adopted in March, 2013. She was already 3 years old. She came from a home that was hording cats and with the name Black Jack but we decided to rename her. Oreo is much more cat like compared to Bootz, who acts more like a dog at times. Though rather talkative, Oreo has small chirp like meows that can barely be heard. She loves mouse toys and will toss them high in the air. She's bit of an attention whore and overly curious about everything around her.

My black and white kittehs! Both Bootz and Oreo are rescue cats. Though they don't seem to mind each other, they are by no means best friends. They like chasing each other all around the apartment. Much needed exercise for Bootz. Both enjoy laying together on their cat tower outside or on the bed next to each other, but never touching.
